What is an Occupational Therapist?
Occupational therapists promote health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate in the activities of everyday life.
Occupational Therapists can help children by working with the child, their families and their teachers. Occupational therapists aim to improve the child’s quality of life by helping them to participate in play, preschool, school and home activities. (Occupational Therapy Australia, 2017)
